Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes the storage technologies Conomize actually uses. The short version: we set no cookies, run no analytics and no advertising trackers, and therefore ask you for no consent.

Last updated:

1. Summary

  • Conomize sets no cookies of its own.
  • There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, no fingerprinting and no tag manager.
  • Two preference values are stored locally in your browser so the site remembers your market and language choice.
  • Because no non-essential technology is used, no consent is required and no cookie banner is shown.

2. What we actually store

The following values are written to your browser's local storage โ€” not cookies, and never transmitted to our servers or to third parties:

  • conomize.market โ€” remembers the market you last viewed (for example Italy or Luxembourg). Strictly functional. Persists until you clear your browser storage.
  • conomize.language โ€” remembers your last interface language. Strictly functional. Persists until you clear your browser storage.

Neither value identifies you, and neither is used for measurement, profiling or advertising. Your market and language always come from the URL you are visiting; the stored values only offer your previous choice as a convenience.

3. Why there is no cookie banner

Consent under EU ePrivacy rules is required for storing or accessing information on your device where that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. The two values above are functional preferences you triggered yourself, and we operate nothing else that reads or writes to your device.

We consider an unnecessary consent banner to be poor practice: it trains people to click through choices that carry no meaning. If we ever add a technology that genuinely requires consent, we will present a fair, non-blocking choice in which refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and nothing non-essential will run before you agree.

4. Third-party requests

Two categories of third-party request can occur while using Conomize:

  • Web fonts: our page styling loads the Inter typeface from Google's font services, so your browser contacts those servers and your IP address is visible to them as a technical necessity of that request. No cookie is set by Conomize for this.
  • Merchant and affiliate destinations: when you click through to a merchant, that site โ€” and any affiliate network in the path โ€” may set its own cookies or identifiers under its own policy. This happens after you leave Conomize.

5. Managing storage in your browser

You can delete the two preference values at any time by clearing site data for conomize.com in your browser settings. The site continues to work normally afterwards; it simply stops remembering your last market and language.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

This policy is updated whenever the technologies in use change. If a non-essential technology is ever introduced, this page and the consent experience will be updated before it is activated.
